It is 1945. The Second World War is finished and Italy yearns for rebirth. In this favourable climate Alfonso Meini starts his craft activity specializing in the production of bedrooms and creating sophisticated designs that satisfy the most demanding clientele. Alfonso’s workshop is located in the heart of Tuscany, in Casciana Terme, a famous thermal resort that hosts elite tourism from different parts of Europe. Alfonso has a precise vision of his work and understands its potential. Thus, he transforms his workshop into a semi-industrial factory. Mario Meini, Alfonso’s son, takes over the family business and dedicates himself mainly to the expansion on the market. As time passes, he entrusts the Company to his children, Alessandro and Luisella. It is with them that a new Project, called ‘Italian Signature’ takes shape.   Alessandro Meini inherits the taste, experience and technical abilities of his forefathers and, with these at hand, focuses on the development of new Collections. He understands that the maintenance of craftsmanship in the industrial process is of utmost importance. In his view, the essence of Made-in-Italy lies in a tailor-made Product, born from direct contact with the Customers and the dialogue exploring their needs.
